How to convert WebP to JPG
- Drop your WebP or AVIF images into the box (or paste an image with Ctrl+V).
- Choose JPG for photos, or PNG to keep transparency.
- Download the converted images one by one or as a ZIP.
Why are images saved as WebP?
Many websites serve images as WebP or AVIF because they are much smaller than JPG. When you save such an image, you get a .webp or .avif file — which older photo viewers, Office, print shops and some upload forms don't accept. Converting to JPG or PNG fixes that.
JPG or PNG?
- JPG — best for photos; small files that open everywhere. Transparent areas become white.
- PNG — lossless and keeps transparency; best for logos, screenshots and graphics.
- WebP — convert JPG or PNG to WebP to make images smaller for your own website.
